We are inviting nominations to be submitted to become a
trustee of Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway (TSDG), ahead of the next Annual
General Meeting in November 2025.
TSDG is a third sector interface, funded by the Scottish
Government to support and represent voluntary, charity and community
groups and social enterprises in the south west of Scotland. It is a
charity governed by a board of trustees.
Nominations for a trustee must be made by third sector organisations that
are members of TSDG.
The candidate must agree to the nomination and should submit
a personal statement of no more than 250 words in support of their nomination later in this form.
Candidates should demonstrate that they understand:
- The
role of the third sector
- The
role, function and authority of a third sector interface
- The
roles, responsibilities and accountability of charity trustees
Nominations should be made using this form and should be
supported by an office bearer. An election may be required at the AGM if more nominations
are received than spaces available.
The closing date
