Volunteering for Employment - Referral Form

The volunteering for employment service aims to support individuals who are on the pathway towards employment and looking to develop their skills, gain experience and/or boost their confidence through volunteering.

Participants will be supported to find a suitable volunteering opportunity which aligns with their interests and aspirations. They will also receive one-to-one support before, during and after volunteering to help them make the most of their experience. Please note, this service does not provide paid employment opportunities and cannot guarantee that the individual will find work.

Data protection

The Data Protection Act puts obligations on users of personal information and states that information must be processed fairly and lawfully. This means an individual is entitled to know how we intend to use any information provided. The information provided above will be stored securely and will only be shared with other organisations for purposes relating to the individual's referral. Information supplied above may be used by Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway for statistical purposes, but not in any way that identifies the individual. The information will be stored until no longer required to progress the referral and will then be anonymized.

An individual also has the right to withdraw consent for their information to be stored by Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway at any time.
